Match Summary: Monday night footy at Brookie saw the Sea Eagles finally hit form to get their first win of the season with a ten try smashing of the Warriors by 52 to 6. Brett Stewart scored the first try after 15 minutes and then Michael Robertson ran in 2 tries in 3 minutes before the Warriors only try came in the 33rd minute. Matt Orford hit straight back with a converted try for the Sea Eagles to go into break leading 22-6. Michael Bani scored in the 46th minute and then, with the Sea Eagles dominating possession, the carnage really began with tries to Watmough (54th minute), Brett Stewart (57th minute), Watmough (66th minute), Robertson (71th minute) and Brett Stewart (74th minute). So the match ended with hat-tricks to Brett Stewart and Michael Robertson and a brace to Anthony Watmough. |
